If, when the moon is half, you say
"the moon is half," that is a lie the eyes
have told and now you have repeated.

If, when the moon is half, you say "I know no
stargazer, no star-gadgetry, so to me the moon is
half," you may be phenomenological but still

not honest. But if you say " never is the moon
how I want it," and still manage to love it less than
full in its cups ever halving--know you are new.
